Maldon's neighbours

f you prefer a trip to Lavendula near Daylsford (35km) to see the lavender farm and visit their
gorgeous shop loaded with products made from lavender.
Closer to home a trip on Maldon’s steam train to Castelmaine and back. Follow the walking trail around Maldon and learn about the history of the buildings.
Visit Carmine Tunnel and the Beehive chimney. Or you can just go shopping… visit beautiful “Lavender and Lace’ loaded with exquisite linens, laces and hand made items from Italy and France, some locally made items and fabulous iron beds and more.
Or if food is your fancy “Provinder” has great kitchen items, local produce and wines. If you book ahead you can even get a great massage, facial etc. Antique shops, shops that sell bears or lollies, chocolates, gifts, “Beaton’s Country Clothing Store ”, bric-a- brac , a great quilting shop and lots more. There is even a sensational Japanese furniture store and of course Possum Gully Art Gallery with great ever changing paintings and pottery.
